My career path has been quite complex and multi-faceted. On a high level, I’d say I’m what they call a creative. How else am I to describe all of the following under one word, or even three for that matter? (Seriously, if anyone knows please share)!!

Who is Susan C. Anderson?
On a not-so-high level, In her previous life, Susan spent over twenty years in the healthcare industry focused on work that required analyzing, processing, updating, disseminating, implementing… You know, all the “Ings” associated with left brain utilization! She was fortunate enough to work for a company that presented opportunities to create & express however, these opportunities were side-projects that she found herself wishing she could focus her energies on full-time.
Susan created and managed a “Jetsetters” blog for fellow “Road Warriors” as well as a monthly departmental newsletter where she entertained her passion for writing. With a former background in acting, she jumped at the chance to audition for the company’s news program that broadcasted biweekly to over 5,000 worldwide employees. Not only did she land the role as the new Co-Host but she was also featured in a series of meeting etiquette training videos. Hell, despite her overwhelming fears, she sang live with the “Square Roots” band at the monthly company meetings… on a stage… in a theatre!
These were the things she wanted to do more of, A GREAT DEAL MORE OF!
Facilitating a room was and is one of Susan’s Super Powers, yet training medical professionals on how to use technical systems had become stale rather quickly. Parsing through data, meetings, processing documents, more meetings, auditing. Susan knew a change was needed.
“I was beginning to loathe what I did for a living, it felt like my soul was being sucked from my body”.
Susan realized she was out of alignment with her true self and the time came in 2017 when she resigned from her employer of thirteen years, packed up all her belongings, and drove across the country with the intention of immersing herself in leadership training in Los Angeles, California. The eighteen months spent out west provided ample opportunities to put on her visionary cap, serve humanity and experience life, California style.
“Gee Susan, how’d that go”?
In 2018 she found herself once again packing up her belongings into her trusty little Nissan Altima and driving back across the country, this time to New Hampshire. In her spare time, she continued to focus on the development of her creative abilities. Painting, building, baking, public speaking, vlogging, decorating, playing guitar, writing, and more!
Enter 2020, the Pandemic, the beginning of so much that is different. A furloughed position, time, and much thought led Susan to the fall of 2020, her first semester enrolled in the Digital Media Communications program at Great Bay Community College.
Once again, she completely switched things up. You may be asking yourself, “When is she ever going to settle into things”?!?!?!? Here is what Susan had to say;
What I know for sure is that this woman is not okay with “Settling”. I’ve learned that when I do, it’ can be a MISERABLE situation for all involved. What I also know is that I was put on this planet to Inspire as well as Create through divine expression.
Both as equally important.
